Shipping FAQs
How long does it take you to ship after I order?
3-5 Business days although items are often shipped sooner. Items will be shipped through Priority Mail and tracking will be provided to you as soon as available.
Do you combine shipments?
If you have more than one order from me and they are shipping to the same address I will combine the shipment if possible and refund you the difference. There are instances due to the size of the items where it may not be possible to combine them to insure their safety when shipped.
What do I do if my adopted critter has arrived broken?
I will pack your adopted critter with the utmost care which includes putting them in comfy box filled with polyfil to cushion and protect them. This box will then be placed into a bigger one and filled with protective material. Polymer clay is very strong and durable however your critter may have some very thin and delicate anatomy that can break when mishandled or treated roughly.
- If your adopted critter arrives with very minor damages, they can often be fixed with a little bit of TLC and super glue. Please see my 'Care' page in how to care for your adopted critter.
In the event that your adopted critter is broken beyond repair:
- Please take pictures of the damages and contact me immediately.
- All critters will be insured up to their full value with USPS.
- A claim will be filed with USPS so you will be able to get your adoption fees back.
Do you offer refunds?
Because your adopted critter will be fully insured through the USPS in the event that they are damaged irreparably, no refunds will be issued. USPS Priority mail covers up to $100. If you do purchase an item that is priced and valued above $100, Route shipping insurance is provided upon checkout.
What is Route Shipping Insurance?
Route shipping insurance is an option I've included during checkout. Route shipping insurance costs about 1.5% of your cart value. If for any reason the package is lost in transit, damaged, shows as delivered but was stolen off of your porch, you can file a claim with Route Shipping. You will receive an email from Route if you choose to add their insurance to your cart. For more information please check out their website.
What if tracking says delivered but I didn't get my package?
Please contact your local Post Office for help as there is no way to verify whether your package was stolen or actually delivered, we will not be responsible once tracking says delivered.
Do you ship outside of the US?
Yes I do ship internationally. But please be aware that shipping costs will vary according to where you live. All taxes, duties, fees and additional costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
What do I do if I gave the wrong address when ordering?
Please contact me ASAP to ensure the proper delivery of your critter. I may not be able to make any changes to help your critter get to its proper home once the package is in the hands of the Post Office.
