About Me

What is Hinano's Enchanted Creations?

I discovered my love of clay in late summer of 2016. I came across amazing dragon sculptures that inspired me to pick up a few blocks of clay to see what I could create. My husband and I were away from home several days a week as we drove cross country as semi truck drivers. I sculpted when I could and shared what I created with family and friends on my personal Facebook page. My mom became my biggest fan and encouraged me to open a little online shop to sell what I was creating. Sadly, I lost my mom and stopped sculpting for almost two years. When I finally decided to sell online, I named my business in honor of her and Hinano's Enchanted Creations was born!

About me

I'm a self taught artist, wife and mom to two fur babies. I was born and lived most of my life on the Big Island of Hawaii. Since meeting and marrying my husband, we've traveled extensively across the US for our work and now reside in North Carolina. I'm an empathic introvert with 'squirrel' syndrome which means I'm easily distracted by any and everything, especially shinies! So its hard for me to stay focused at times lol.

When I'm not sculpting, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs. I love traveling, thai food, reading fantasy, working on exploring other art mediums and playing video games. I'm certified in Usui Reiki levels I and II and hope to complete my master Reiki level at some point in the future.

Meet my staff

My furbabies sleep next to me while I sculpt. They insure that I take the proper rest breaks when working and give their 'paw' of approval on every project. They provide distracting entertainment when I'm on zoom calls and classes. Gizmo also makes sure I stay lively during a call by snoring loudly and often!

Meet Gizmo, my long haired, monster chihuahua who has traveled with me from my home state of Hawaii and across most of the continental US. He is a monster because he is freakishly large and twice the size of his brother Mumbles who is owned by my niece. His favorite hobbies include looking out of our window to make sure the neighbors dogs and strangers stay off his lawn, going for car rides and barking at cows!

This is Karsi, our fiesty Pomchi mix who is named after my favorite Wildling from GOT. She gets a lot of attention for her coloring and markings that make her look like a miniature husky. Karsi loves going for walks in the park, harassing Gizmo and chasing ball all day long.
